Reintegration

From talent to future

Through our reintegration programme, we train newcomers in 6 to 9 months to become independent employees or self-employed professionals (zzp) — based on their talent, background and abilities.

Working from strength

When people work within their own field and talents, they feel happier and perform better.

Safe and legal work

Many immigrants work off the books, resulting in unsafe situations. We help them find legal and sustainable employment.

Targeted training

Trade-specific courses that match their skills — both theoretical and hands-on.

Language support

Learning Dutch within their own field of work makes the working process more efficient.

Driving licence support

We support newcomers in obtaining their driving licence, which improves their opportunities in the labour market.

An answer to the labour shortage

Three quarters of Dutch employers struggle to find staff: there is an annual shortage of 20,000 skilled tradespeople.

Our mission: helping newcomers become self-reliant entrepreneurs

After my own experience as an immigrant in the Netherlands, I know how difficult it can be to rebuild your career. From filmmaker to building contractor, I have built up a business several times and had to start over again. This has taught me how important the right guidance, knowledge and networks are. That is why I set up this department: to help newcomers build an independent and successful future in the Netherlands.

Newcomers can apply for our services through their municipality — we help with submitting the request.

What we do for newcomers

  • Trade-specific training — theoretical and practical, under the guidance of professionals. Where necessary, with lessons and exams in the participant’s native language.
  • VCA certification — we guide participants towards the VCA diploma (safety certification) required on construction sites.
  • Work placements — newcomers complete a 3-month placement at a large company within their field.
  • Professional CV and portfolio — including a video of their skills and previous projects.
  • Tax course — basic knowledge for employment and comprehensive training for self-employed professionals (zzp).
  • Job placement — we help find employment or provide guidance towards self-employment: from registration with the Chamber of Commerce (KVK) to assignments via employment agencies and freelancer networks.
  • Access to purchasing channels — introductions to wholesalers and help with setting up business accounts.
  • Mentorship — we monitor and coach starting self-employed professionals during their first month in the world of entrepreneurship.

Why our programme is unique

  1. Real-world experience — first-hand immigration experience helps to recognise and resolve obstacles.
  2. Strong network — partnerships with municipalities, UWV (the Dutch employee insurance agency), COA (the Dutch agency for the reception of asylum seekers) and large companies increase the chance of success.
  3. Proven method — previous successes in guiding immigrants have led to the development of an effective approach.
  4. Individual guidance — every newcomer has unique needs; we adapt our programmes accordingly.
  5. Rapid integration — our methodology ensures that participants can work independently within a short time.

Costs

The costs of our programme depend on background, language level and profession, and on whether someone is guided individually or in a group. We therefore do not apply fixed rates, but provide a transparent, tailored quotation after an initial conversation.
